Contest Date: February 1st through February 28th

Re/Dress NYC, a curvy shopper’s dream come true, is the premiere vintage & resale clothing boutique specializing in sizes 10 and up. Re/Dress NYC has an the largest plus size vintage collection from sizes medium through 4x. It’s also a buy * sell * trade establishment allowing women to sell clothing for cash or store credit, which is a an environmental and recession friendly way to refresh a wardrobe. Their contemporary clothing ranges from the cutest inexpensive Torrid dress to high-end designers like Anna Scholz, Tadashi and Marina Rinaldi. Photographer, Luke Jones, has been working with plus size models for the past 11 years in NYC. His clients include Igigi.com, Trudiva.com, The Plus Academy and Big Girls United. Luke works along side his wife, Madeline Jones (Editor of PLUS Model Magazine) as the staff photographer. Together they are passionate about contributing to the plus size industry and providing images for models, designers and industry professionals. (www.lucaspictures.net)

Eligibility: All entrants must meet the Model Search requirements and pay the processing fee.

Participants must be female, at least a size 18 and no younger than 18 years of age. All entrants must be a citizen of the United States. We are looking for non signed talent.

How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Entrants must write a 250 word essay and tell us what you love about your body and what 3 things you would say to someone who’s struggling with self love. Along with your entry please include two jpeg pictures that best represent yourself. Email your entry to modelsearch@redressnyc.com . You can also enter by visiting the RE/DRESS NYC store on February 20th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and receive a $10 off coupon to use at the store.

Some of the pictures may be posted on the Re/Dress NYC site, facebook page & twitter. Please be sure to only send pictures to which you own the rights to.

A $10 processing fee must be paid to paypal@redressnyc.com at time of entry.

All expenses incurred during the application process is the sole responsibility of the participant.

Prizes: The Grand Prize winner will be the featured model in the first Re/Dress NYC campaign by Lucaspictures. The featured model will also be featured in 18PLUS at www.plusmodelmag.com . Second prize winner will receive a photo shoot with Lucaspictures. Third prize winner will receive $100 Gift Certificate to Re/Dress NYC.

The winner will be announced on PLUS Model Radio. (Date to be announced)
