Join Blissful Elegance for an afternoon of self discovery with The Eye of the Beholder: Beauty, Self Image and Self Esteem Divas Who Brunch Series this Saturday, June12, 2010 from 1 PM – 5 PM at Pearl Studios, 500 Eighth Avenue, Room 1211, in New York City.

Hosted by Belle-Noir Communications CEO and founder and pioneer plus-size advocate, Ms. Aja B. Stubbs, guests will hear from professionals in an array of self image related topics. The line-up includes: Personal Style Coach, Steffany Bready; Self Esteem Coach, LaShawnda Jones; Image Consultant, Nanathale Collins; and Beauty Advisor, Adrienne Dawkins.

Special guests will also include, Author and Hip-Hop Artist, Super Nova Slom; the son of world-renowned healer, Queen Afua, who has worked to help some the biggest names in Hip-Hop like, Erykah badu and Common live a healthier lifestyle. With tasty recipes and lifestyle secrets in his book, The Remedy from stars such as Chuck D, Hype Williams, Melyssa Ford, Tyson Beckford, and Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Super Nova Slom teaches people how to live a healthier lifestyle. Hailing from Bronx, New York and coined the Supersize Spanishfly, plus size trailblazer, entertainer, radio personality, blogger and activist, Lynx Garcia will also make a special appearance.

Guests will enjoy a delectable brunch catered by Dining With Grace, Brooklyn’s leading connoisseur of fine food based on the cuisine and flavors of Africa, while networking and listening to successful women discuss how to better your “Beauty, Self Image and Self Esteem.” As an added bonus, during the brunch Blissful Elegance will also conduct a clothes and makeup swap.
